Marvel’s Avengers has received a massive patch for all platforms. Update 1.3.0 fixes over 1,000 issues and makes fans very happy. One of the main topics was missing loot.
What is the patch about? The developers of Marvel’s Avengers have been working hard since the launch of the superhero spectacle in early September and have delivered a significant update with Patch 1.3.0. According to the patch notes, over 1,000 issues, bugs, and other things have been addressed.
Among other things, the following topics are the focus of the update:
- Matchmaking in Multiplayer has been improved and now allows for more chances for someone to play with you
- Massive errors in the animations have been fixed, including the infamous bug that made Captain America look silly in the frontline costume
- There were also numerous fixes in combat. For example, Kamala’s arms no longer get stuck in the vegetation as long pixel sausages. Similarly, Cap’s shield can no longer get caught in Iron Man’s energy barriers.
- Furthermore, the turrets and adaptoids are now less aggressive and unfair.
- Especially in loot, there have been many much-needed improvements. The fabrication unit now spits out the correct loot and your resources inventory no longer disappears when you reach a certain limit of units.
Fans celebrate the update – “Developers have listened”
This is how the update is received by fans: On reddit, there were over 1,000 comments (as of September 19, 2020) on the post about the update. Fans are mostly satisfied and celebrate that the developers relatively quickly fixed all these urgent issues.
Many players particularly celebrate the improvements in combat. Automatic turrets and missiles were a nuisance for many, as they constantly hammered at players from a distance and were difficult to counter.
Additionally, the annoying adaptoids have been slightly nerfed and no longer interrupt your actions as often as before. Many players found this extremely annoying and unfair, as it could leave you trapped in an endless loop of interrupted animations.
Also popular: You can now set motion blur to 0 and turn it off. This was requested by many fans as it made them feel sick.
