1. Peni Parker
First appearance: Edge of Spider-Verse No. 5 (2014)
Who is Peni Parker? Instead of gaining spider powers through a bite, Peni is a mech pilot. A radioactive spider helps her control her bionic suit SP//dr
. After the death of her father, she takes on the role of New York’s protector. Besides that, she is an ordinary student (via Marvel.com).
She is a clear reference to mech anime like Neon Genesis Evangelion or Gundam.

2. Psylocke
