Could the action MMORPG Marvel Heroes soon be released for PlayStation 4?
Signs are increasing that Marvel Heroes could eventually land on PS4. The action MMORPG had a rough start on PC, but over time it has developed into a real hit, somewhat like the story of Bruce Banner and the Hulk, only without the tantrums, but with a lot of hard work.
Marvel Heroes reminds many of Diablo 3 with larger MMORPG components. No wonder, as Diablo mastermind David Brevik was at the helm for years. He once said, if you want to know what my plans for Diablo 3 looked like, check out Marvel Heroes.
Marvel Heroes for PlayStation 4? Here are the signs
Perhaps the Free2Play game no longer considers PC as its only platform. Recently, the signs point to simplification for Marvel Heroes:
It already sounds like they are making the game “console friendly.” That alone might be a bit too little for a juicy rumor, but knowledgeable fans have already found hints in the game’s code.
To be fair, even so, they are just indications and lines of code – nothing is confirmed yet.
The next heroes are all X-Men and Inhumans
One thing is for sure: The next hero in Marvel Heroes will be “Beast,” the old fur carrier. After that, Black Bolt will follow. Jubilee and Medusa will follow as team-ups, as companions. It seems to be X-Men weeks at Marvel Heroes.
