Marvel Heroes Omega starts in May with the Open Beta and thus the so-called “Soft Launch”. From then on, everyone can play the free-to-play superhero action MMO without fearing wipes.
Marvel Heroes Omega has been in Closed Beta on PlayStation 4 for several weeks now. Only those who purchased a founder’s pack or were lucky in our contests could access it and play the superhero MMO created by Diablo founder David Brevik on the console.
If you still don’t have access and don’t want to buy it, you won’t have to wait much longer. The Open Beta of Marvel Heroes Omega starts next week.
Marvel Heroes Omega: Open Beta – No more wipes until release
The Open Beta of Marvel Heroes Omega begins on May 23, 2017.
From then on, all PS4 players can download the game for free and play without worries. Because in the Open Beta, there will be no more wipes, so you can keep your leveled-up heroes.
Therefore, the Open Beta also serves as a soft launch for the game.
Marvel Heroes Omega will initially only be released for the PS4 console. No further details about the launch on Xbox One are known. Additionally, Marvel Heroes Omega will differ from the PC version. There are only half as many heroes at first and a trading feature among players is missing. Later, the different versions are expected to converge significantly.
