The Korean cuddle MMO MapleStory 2 is attempting to bring players back and win them over.
As the Asia-focused MMO site mmoculture reports, MapleStory 2 is struggling to step out of the enormous shadow of its predecessor MapleStory. That is going significantly better. With the Winter Update 2016, developer Nexon is planning a “restart” for MapleStory 2.
To achieve this, Nexon wants to restructure and redesign the MMO based on community feedback and their own ideas. Like with other games, they are following the “We make it easier and let things pop” approach:
- Dungeons should become easier
- access to features like housing, mining, and farming should also be facilitated
- there will be bonus items for everyone playing during the update.
