Are you already playing the early access of the new online shooter SCUM? Then you must be on the lookout for loot in the huge game world. Because loot is extremely important in the game – among other things, because you need to feed yourself.
These places have the best weapons and equipment parts
Important locations in the game world: The game area in SCUM is 144 km² large. Here, you will search for useful items that you can find at certain locations.
Player Suspectlive has created a map where you can find these locations. It’s best to keep the loot map open next to the game for orientation.
The color codes of the loot map in SCUM
Bunkers: Bunkers are marked in yellow on the map. It is especially worthwhile to visit and explore them. Because you can find a lot of loot here. Including:
- Weapons
- Ammunition
- Armor
- Tactical clothing
- MREs
But be aware that the bunkers are guarded. Usually, you will have to try to get past two mechs. In addition, zombies lurk here. Therefore, you should proceed strategically and consider sneaking instead.
Police stations: The police stations, marked in blue on the map, offer you many weapons. Stations outside of cities are guarded by mechs. Inside cities, you have to deal with zombies.
Hunting Camps: Marked in green on the map, the hunting camps provide you with ammunition and often weapons as well. However, the camps are difficult to reach and are also guarded by zombies.
Outposts: The outposts that you can see in pink on the map offer you little loot. However, they are usually not guarded.
Important places: Marked individually on the map, you will also find various locations such as the factory or the prison. Other players often gather here, leading to intense PvP battles. In addition, you will face zombies and mechs but will always find interesting loot.

Weapon locations: On this map, you can discover weapons at the red points. The green points represent the previously mentioned bunkers. At the marked places, however, you will encounter many other players who want to get the firearms as well.
Food sources: The map below shows you where to find something to eat based on the yellow points. This can be bushes with berries but also wild animals that you need to hunt for meat.
Water sources: You also need water to survive. At the edge of the map, you can easily identify some lakes with fresh water that are light blue. In section C2, you will discover a larger water source next to a city. However, its central location makes this place interesting for many players, so you should be cautious.
With these tips, you should be able to quickly acquire weapons, equipment, food, and water in SCUM.
