Probably because they only own these consoles. And they searched on Google for ways to get into Fortnite.

However, especially in Germany, many still apparently only have a PlayStation 3 – here the interest in “Fortnite PS3” remained high for a long time, especially in Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Brandenburg.

Is it possible to play Fortnite on PS3 or Xbox 360? No, that is not possible. You can find some videos on YouTube that pretend to show actual gameplay of Fortnite on PS3. However, they all turn out to be “fake” or clear troll attempts.
Is Epic planning a port of Fortnite for PS3 and Xbox 360? No, nothing is known about this. It also seems unlikely that Epic is considering such a port. While it would certainly be a way to be more present in some markets, the number of people who only have a last-gen console is likely decreasing every day.
