At CES 2022, a manufacturer presented a very special PC case. Because the case offers you a fascinating design.
The Consumer Electronics Show, or CES, is one of the most important trade fairs for consumer electronics. Here, various manufacturers often showcase new hardware developments. In addition to large manufacturers like Sony, AMD, and Nvidia, smaller developers also present new products.
One manufacturer is CyberPowerPC. The company primarily produces ready-made PCs that are then sold to users, but it also has its own cases on offer. One of them is sure to please some of you. Because it has a special function that also looks really good.

What kind of case is this? Kinetic architecture refers to when buildings or objects can move and adapt, allowing wind or light to enter.
The manufacturer CyberPowerPC now implements this principle in its latest case and aptly names its new series “Kinetic Series Chassis.” The front consists of 18 movable flaps that automatically open when the PC needs more air because it is getting too hot. You don’t have to intervene yourself, and try tips if your PC gets too hot.
Inside, there is a sensor system that checks the temperature of your installed hardware every few seconds and adjusts the ventilation flaps accordingly. You don’t have to do anything, but you can simply watch as your computer case “breathes” in the truest sense. In the official video, you can also see exactly how it works:
The manufacturer explains in its YouTube video that the case can dynamically adjust to every degree. It’s not about maximizing airflow but about this special dynamism:
The adjustments are not limited to simply opening and closing but to opening and adjusting in real-time to every single degree of temperature change. It senses the environment and constantly contracts and expands to adapt to the situation with micro-adjustments.

The developers explain on their own website, “We hope that this design sparks a wave of creativity throughout the industry that fundamentally changes our thinking about design.”
When will the case be released and how much will it cost? The company stated that it intends to deliver the case starting in the third quarter of 2022. This is roughly in late summer or autumn for us. The price is expected to be around $250 and would likely cost about 250 euros with taxes. If you want to purchase the case, you should keep in mind that import fees will be added on top of that.
What do you think? Do you like the presented case and would you buy it for 250 euros, or would a constantly moving case make you nervous in the long run? Let us know in the comments!
