The community of The First Descendant celebrates the developers and looks forward to the future of the shooter, thanks to the latest patch.
Why is The First Descendant receiving praise? The loot shooter received hotfix 1.0.2 on July 11, 2024, which brought much praise to the developers. In the patch notes, players discovered several aspects that had previously been discussed in the community.
For example, players called for The First Descendant to have hard-mode matchmaking for dungeons. They feared that the game could die without the feature.
Additionally, part of the community feared that the so-called “infinite-ammo” build for the descendant Gley could be nerfed, but in the patch notes of the hotfix, the developers reassured players and said, there are currently no plans to weaken the strong build.
Also, with the hotfix, the amount of rare base materials from Encrypted Vaults was increased. Since then, they can also be dropped by elite Vulgus.
Overall, the hotfix was very well received by the community because the developers listened to the feedback from players and responded accordingly. The transparency regarding potential future nerfs was also praised.
