Mad Max meets World of Tanks – The closed beta of Crossout has started

Mad Max greets in the freshly launched Closed Beta of the post-apocalyptic multiplayer action game Crossout .

In the end times, it seems to be common to race through desert landscapes with souped-up cars, because this is exactly what you do in the freshly launched Closed Beta of Gaijin Entertainment’s online game Crossout.

Souped-up cars, post-apocalypse, and PvP battles

Basically, the game is reminiscent of World of Tanks or Gaijin’s own War Thunder. However, with much faster battles. Because the cars drive very fast.

You start with a rusty junker and continuously build it up by reinforcing the armor or attaching better weapons. This way, you have better chances in the PvP battles on the various maps. It is, of course, also possible to expand your fleet with new cars, all of which have different abilities. Team battles are at the top, just like in War Thunder and World of Tanks.

However, the developers also want to offer something for crafting enthusiasts. Therefore, as a player, you can build a so-called Leviathan. This is a real monster made of steel and scrap that you build yourself and then send against other players. Generally, “crafting” plays an important role in Crossout, as the upgrade and improvement of your vehicles and the Leviathan are very important.

Participate in the Early Access

The now launched Closed Beta of the MMO also offers a new map, Founders Canyon, which enhances the landscape filled with abandoned cities, devastated places, and destroyed factories around a canyon where you can engage in intense battles. The large rocks and destroyed statues in the canyon provide obstacles but also cover.
