After the war, it’s time for love. Two fan favorites in World of Warcraft finally come together – there is a new love story.
Several months ago, we reported on the budding romance between two elves in World of Warcraft. Now it seems things are heating up for Lor’themar and Thalyssra. In a new short story, their relationship develops further and quite rapidly. Fans are excited about this development.
This is the latest development in WoW: Last night, Blizzard unexpectedly released a new short story on the website. “The Poetry of the Moment” can be read for free on the German website or downloaded as a PDF.

What is the story about? The short story “The Poetry of the Moment” tells how the leader of the blood elves, Lor’themar Theron, finally fulfills his promise to the First Arcanist Thalyssra. He visits the Shal’dorei in Suramar and has been invited by her to a poetry competition that is to take place in public.
Lor’themar has written a rather general poem about his people and recalls the mistakes made by Kael’thas Sunstrider. He receives only moderate applause for this.
Thalyssra, on the other hand, has written a very emotional poem filled with innuendos and allusions.
Only later, when the two are alone and Thalyssra literally pushes his face into the obvious, does Lor’themar realize that the elf has revealed her feelings in her poem. In the moment of peace and togetherness, they finally find each other and “get together” at last.
Is it worth reading the story? That depends. Those who are interested in these two characters, who are each leaders of their people, will find this story well worth it. Two fan favorites finally get some attention. The plot is also a good foreshadowing of what will happen with Shadowlands and which characters will appear again there.
However, those who want to immediately “Epic Cringe” in the comments at the first sentence should steer clear of this. Because at its core, it’s a small but fine love story.
