Once you have finished the first continent in Lost Ark, you will receive the quest to find all 7 Arks. We will clarify why this can lead to despair and where they are located. Warning: Spoiler alert!
Where are the Arks? At the end of the first continent, the quest “Find the Arks” will accompany you. It tells you relatively little, except that you need to find a total of 7 Arks in Arkesia.
Well, you cannot walk past them. If you follow the main story, which from now on includes light blue quests instead of the usual red-orange ones, the Arks will gradually come into your hands.
With the completion of the local story quests, you will then receive an Ark there:
The locations of the Arks:
- In Luterra you will collect the 1st Ark
- The 2nd Ark awaits you on the island Tortoyk
- Once you have completed the storyline in Arthetine, you will receive the 3rd Ark as a gift
- Defeating the demons in Shushire will then grant you the 4th Ark
- On the continent Rohendel, you can pick up the 5th Ark
- And in Feiton, the 6th Ark awaits at the end of the story
Once you have collected the Arks, they will be stored in Trixion. You can reach this place with the song of Trixion, which you can play from the menu by pressing F2. There you can view all collected Arks.
What’s next? First of all, nothing. Because the task of finding all 7 Arks is currently unsolvable. Lost Ark is an ongoing MMORPG, and its story is not yet finished.
Therefore, at this moment, neither in Korea nor in our version are all 7 Arks in the game, and for now, it is only finished with the 6 available.
How to hide the quest
Help, the quest is annoying: There are far too many other tasks in Lost Ark to be staring at a quest that simply cannot be solved all the time. But there is a trick for that too:
If you open the quest menu, by default with “J”, you will find the main quest “Find the Arks” under the tab “Arkesia”. If you now remove the yellow check mark from the box on the right side, the quest will disappear from your active tracker. Then you won’t have it constantly stuck on the right side of your screen.
When can you complete it? When the 7th Ark will actually come, or when it will be available in our version of Lost Ark, is still unknown. What is certain is that the story should not end with the finding of the 7th Ark.
In an interview, the Game Director of Smilegate, Gold River, confirmed that it must continue afterwards. He jokingly said that he also needs to earn his money somehow. However, he leaves completely open how it continues once the Arks are found. In any case, Lost Ark will accompany us for many years to come.
