In Lost Ark there is a special card set that grants you additional damage against Lucky Monsters. But what are Lucky Monsters and where can you find them? We at MeinMMO will tell you.
What are Lucky Monsters? You can encounter Lucky Monsters in Chaos Dungeons. Occasionally, a golden portal opens, and monsters rush into the dungeon. These monsters are Lucky Monsters.
You can also find secret maps that look like treasure maps and lead you to an island. There, you usually encounter a strong opponent and many small mobs. These are also Lucky Monsters.
Is the card set worth it? The “Pirate Generation” set grants you:
- 2 Set Bonus: +100% damage to Lucky Monsters
- 4 Set Bonus: +100% damage to Lucky Monsters
- 6 Set Bonus: +100% damage to Lucky Monsters
- 6 Set Bonus (Awakening Level 18): Attack speed +4.00%
- 6 Set Bonus (Awakening Level 30): Attack speed +10.00%
Although the damage bonus is really strong, the set is not worth it for you. You will rarely encounter Lucky Monsters enough to benefit from these bonuses.

Useful card sets in Lost Ark that you can obtain quickly
Which card sets are really useful? This fundamentally depends on your play style and class. However, there are generally good sets that you can always use and obtain quickly. One of them is the “Forest of Giants” set:
- 3 Set Bonus: +15 % additional effect for items that restore HP or mana
- 3 Set Bonus (Awakening Level 9): Physical Defense +10.00 %, Magic Defense +10.00 %
- 3 Set Bonus (Awakening Level 15): Physical Defense +20.00 %, Magic Defense +20.00 %
You get this by building a good relationship with Mokamoka, defeating the world boss Caspiel in Tortoyk, and defeating the boss Protector Peros in Tortyk’s Heart.
Also useful is the set “We’ll meet again”:
- 3 Set Bonus: -12 % damage when you have less than 50 % health
- 3 Set Bonus (Awakening Level 9): -16 % damage from enemies that have less than 50 % health
- 3 Set Bonus (Awakening Level 15): Quickly restores health when you are hit while having less than 20 % health (Cooldown: 10 minutes).
You can obtain this by completing 30 % of Shushire in the Adventure Tome, defeating the last boss in the dungeon Vrad’s Hideout, and through the “Daybreak” quest in Shushire.
