The War Dancer is characterized by fast attacks combined with elemental energy. She embodies one of the strongest classes in Lost Ark. MeinMMO author Anny Bader has been playing the War Dancer since the release and tells you what to pay attention to.
What kind of class is this? The War Dancer, in English Wardancer, is a subclass of the Martial Artist. She attacks the enemy lightning-fast with her fists and also has some AoE skills.
In combat, she positions herself close to the enemy and dodges their attacks thanks to her agility. This is done by pressing the spacebar, allowing the War Dancer to dash forward. The dodge can be repeated every 6 seconds.
She prefers to position herself behind the enemy, as her defense is rather low. Additionally, some of her attacks deal bonus damage when executed from behind.
Her abilities can be used as combos to deal more damage. Therefore, it’s worth reading the attacks carefully. In terms of stats distribution, you should focus on specialization and crit.
The War Dancer performs well solo, but is often taken in groups because of her buffs. She increases the crit rate for all allies by 18 % and gives them additional attack and movement speed.
For which game content is she useful? The War Dancer particularly excels in PvE. She can quickly take down a large number of enemies, but also fares well against bosses, as she is good at dodging. She is at the top of our PvE tier list in the S-Tier.
In PvP, the War Dancer is not the best, but she is certainly usable in 3v3. You should try to stay within range of your mates while still standing close to the enemy. It’s also important to act unpredictably for your opponents thanks to her agility. In our PvP tier list, she unfortunately only ranks in the C category.
How the War Dancer plays
This is the special ability of the War Dancer: The identity of this class is the so-called Elemental Meter. This display consists of three elemental orbs that fill up over time in combat. This allows you to finally unleash stronger esoteric skills, but consumes energy and you will need to fill the orbs again.

Lightning Kick: Costs 57 mana. Attack with a hail of hits. Launches ground opponents into the air and pulls airborne enemies down.
Triple Fist: Costs 45 mana. Swing your fists around 3 times while moving forward.
Energy Burst: Costs 127 mana. A gust of wind surrounds you, dealing damage to enemies every 0.5 seconds.
Ascending Fire Dragon: Costs no mana. You gather fire energy to attack enemies from the air.
Lightning Strike: Costs no mana. Attack enemies 3 times with lightning and stun them for 2 seconds. Damage against frozen enemies +20 %.
Explosion Formation: Costs no mana. Strike the ground to trigger 3 explosions. During this time, you are immune to paralysis.
Call of the Wind God: Costs no mana. Create a tornado. You can move a maximum of 12 m during the attack.
Spiral Impact: Costs no mana. Distort space and deal massive damage to enemies.
Fire Blitz Catch: Costs 74 mana. Strike multiple times with a total of 9 quick punches.
Whisper of the Wind: Costs 114 mana. Increases the attack and movement speed for all group members within a radius of 24 m.
Foot Sweep: Costs 103 mana. Sweep enemies off their feet and deal damage. Use the ability again to execute a spinning kick in the air.

Anniversary of the Sleeping Ascension: Costs 80 mana. Dive onto the enemy. As a combo, you launch them into the air and deal additional damage.
Moon Blitz Kick: Costs 96 mana. Jump forward with a kick. Execute multiple times to deal more damage and push the enemy back.
Phoenix: Costs 85 mana. Concentrate fire in the air, which then strikes down on the enemy.
Swift Wind Kick: Costs 91 mana. Spinning kick in the air that attacks enemies 22 times. You can move and change the attack direction during this.
Seismic Strike: Costs 80 mana. Causes an earthquake.
The War Dancer in the Level Process
How should I distribute my first skill points? Important when distributing the points is that you never need to raise the skill levels higher than level 10. Skill level 4 is needed for the first tripod, skill level 8 for the second, and skill level 10 for the third.
However, the number of required skill points varies. For level 1 you need 4, for level 2 you need 20, and for the third level, even 48 skill points.
Level 12: Invest 4 points each into Lightning Kick and Triple Fist at the start to deal as much damage as possible.
Up to Level 21: Invest 20 points in Moon Blitz Kick to learn “light-footed” (you will remove these points, however, once you don’t have enough for other skills). Then 20 points in the Anniversary of the Sleeping Ascension for Enhanced Strike.
Up to Level 25: Use the next 48 points on Whisper of the Wind.
Up to Level 30: Now allocate 48 points to Lightning Kick for more damage and mobility.
Up to Level 35: You allocate 48 points in Swift Wind Kick for a lot of area damage.
At Level 38: You can remove the points from Wind Kick, as you will now allocate 48 points in Sky Breaker Strike. Only one point remains in Wind Kick.
Up to Level 45: Points that you previously had to remove from Moon Blitz Kick will be added back. A total of 48 points.
Up to Level 48: Finally, allocate 20 points to Call of the Wind God for more AoE damage.
At Level 50, you can choose between two awakenings of the War Dancer: Fist of Dominance or Blitz Wrath Strike. This is essentially your ultimate.
