The action MMO Lost Ark has a lot to offer. What exactly is revealed by the new, extensive trailer.
Lost Ark: Story, Action, a lot to do!
In recent months, there have been a lot of action RPGs trying their luck on the market, but hardly any is as eagerly awaited as Lost Ark. The latest gameplay trailer should make most players’ mouths water. In a nearly 8-minute trailer, the game showcases its best sides – and there are quite a few. In addition to gigantic siege battles and major player events, there are exciting boss fights, emotes, hidden dungeons, numerous abilities, and a story that at least captivates visually (the translation still needs a bit of work).
It’s best to take a look at the trailer yourself to get an impression of the game world:
Lost Ark will soon start its closed beta test (CBT), where selected players will get to see part of the content. This includes a preliminary level cap of level 30, and 3 of the total 8 “cinematic” dungeons will also be available. Larger events, such as the “Chaos Gate,” are for up to 30 players who can face hordes of enemies at the same time. Crafting and gathering professions are (quite traditionally) also included.
No specific specifications are available yet on what the computer needs to meet, but given the graphics, one can assume that the toaster from 7 years ago won’t be able to handle the game anymore.
So far, there are no concrete plans regarding the business model of Lost Ark. They definitely want to avoid scaring off players, but looking at the current trend, free-to-play seems to be quite popular.
