The beta of the new MMORPG Lost Ark has been over for several days now. Now there are statistics showing which classes were played the most in the beta and are thus the most popular. We at MeinMMO summarize it.
Where do the information come from? During the Lost Ark beta, players had the opportunity to see how many people were currently playing their preferred class during character creation.
The site LostArkive.com has processed this information and created clear graphics from which we can now read which class was the most popular.
How many classes are there? Although there are currently 21 classes in Lost Ark, at least in the Korean version, the game will only launch in Europe with 15 confirmed classes.
However, there are ongoing rumors that Lost Ark wants to surprise at launch with a 16th class, the Sorceress. Recently, the official Twitter account of Lost Ark posted a teaser about this but deleted it after only 8 minutes. Currently, however, only 15 classes are confirmed.
The Assassins at the Top Instead of Hidden in the Dark
What are the most popular classes? The Assassins seem to be very well received by players with their demon powers and blades. In 1st place is the Shadow Hunter, preferred by 11% of the fans.
The Deathblade, which also belongs to the Assassins, comes in a close 3rd place, with 9.77% of created characters.
In between, in second place sneaks the first Mage. With a large gap ahead of her classmate, the Bard, the Summoner reaches 2nd place among the most popular character classes with 10.49%.
In 4th place sneaks the Gunslinger, who is the only one of the Ranged Classes allowed to be this far up. 9.30% of players chose a Gunslinger, while the other ranged classes are sitting in 12th, 11th, and 10th places.
Similarly, the Gunlancer, who ranked 14th, was almost the least popular character. However, his warrior friends, the Berserker and the Paladin, take 5th and 6th places and are among the most popular classes.

The Mage Loses Among the Basic Classes
Which basic classes were the most popular? Although most ranged classes are placed at the lower ranks, the gunner was overall the most popular basic class. A total of 21.50% of players chose one of the shooting characters.
Hot on their heels were the Warriors, with a total of 20.90% of fans opting for them. The Assassins come in at 20.80%, which is not surprising given how popular the Shadow Hunter and Deathblade were.
In 4th place are the Martial Artists, who impressed 19.80% of players. Leading the pack is the Monk, who was playable in Europe for the first time in the beta. It is quite possible that the Martial Artists will drop further when the game is released.
At the bottom, the Mages remain, with only 16.90% of players opting for them. This was mainly due to the Summoner, as the Bard was not played much. However, if Lost Ark surprises with the Sorceress at release, this could look very different.
