The update on March 10 brings players in Lost Ark numerous new content, including the Omen skins.
Today, the servers of Lost Ark were down for about four hours while the new update was installed. They are back online since 1 PM. In the patch notes, Amazon and Smilegate announced among other things a new story quest line as well as the first Abyss raid.
Also of interest are the new skin sets that you can purchase for your character and your horse. In Russia and Korea, where Lost Ark has been available for longer, the Omen skins have been popular.
What kinds of skins are there? There is one Omen skin set per class. There are no differences between the subclasses, so the Bard wears the same as the Sorceress. Only the weapons are different. You can also give your horse a new look.

Here you see all classes in the new skin:
The skins are available in four different color variants: Green, Blue, Red and Orange. Only with the Martial Artist is there a difference, as her skin is Violet instead of Blue. Dying the skins later, as of now, is not possible.
If you have acquired a skin, you can equip it in your character profile under the “Skins and Virtues” tab.
How do I get the Omen skins? The skin sets can be purchased in the shop for royal crystals. Armor and weapon cost 2,400, only the armor costs 2,000 and only the weapon costs 650 royal crystals.
Additionally, there is a special package consisting of skin, weapon, mount, and background for a total of 3,800 crystals.
1,000 crystals cost 9.99 euros, and the most expensive package for 99.99 euros brings you 12,000 crystals.
What does the community say?
The opinions of the players vary widely. Some love them and are excited, while others do not like them at all. The gender binding of the classes continues to be heavily criticized, as the Gunner and the Striker cannot use the skins because of it.
What do the fans say? On Reddit, users are already actively discussing the new skins.
Many find the Omen skins too edgy and wish for outfits that look more everyday.
- CrimeCoder finds them too edgy: “Why didn’t they save these skins for Halloween or something?”
- Stormbulaboo would prefer something casual: “Edgy skins zzzz… Please, just give me normal outfits”
Other users, on the other hand, really celebrate the Omen skins. The skin for the Warrior seems to be particularly popular.
- yourmamasmamasmurf is happy about the Berserker skin: “Oh my god, I can finally become the evil Bone Knight as a Berserker!”
- Zeyz defends the skins: “I can’t believe that people complain so much about the skins. I think they are much prettier than weird bikinis, but maybe I’m just a weirdo.”
What do you think about the new skins? Which class do the Omen skins look best on and which do you actually dislike? Is it worth spending royal crystals on them, or would you rather not invest any real money in Lost Ark? Feel free to write us in the comments here on MeinMMO!
