The new MMORPG Lost Ark has been struggling with heavy queues since its launch. Now, a statistic from players shows which European servers are currently the hardest hit.
What does the statistic show exactly? This table shows the number of players in the queue on all servers in the Central Europe region. It focuses on the day of February 21, 2022. The exact data was collected between 14:24 and 22:52, but it provides a good overall picture.
Which servers are affected? The statistic shows that, contrary to what many German users perceive, the Asta server is not the busiest in Europe. In fact, the unofficial German server Asta is only in 3rd place and even relinquishes its position during the evening hours.
From around 22:00, Asta ranks only 6th among the full servers in Europe, at least concerning the queues in the new MMORPG.
The largest queues are currently on Zinnervale and Kadan, which alternate between the top two positions depending on the time of day. Also among the top are the servers Thirain, Trixion, and Neria, which significantly increase in the evening and night hours.
On which servers are you in good shape? The Calvasus server stands out particularly in the statistics. As one of the smaller servers, it has almost no queues in the afternoon and at night, but you should expect to wait significantly in the early evening.
Next come the servers Wei and Slen, which are the emptiest original servers. The servers that Amazon later provided all have significantly lower queues.
Beatrice, Sirius, Sceptrum, Pocyon, and Mokoko are almost idle, with no queues exceeding 4,000 players at any time. For comparison – If you log in on Zinnervale at 15:30, you must leave approximately 19,000 fans behind.
Which servers are completely empty? On the newer servers Inanna, Thaemine, Antares, Brelshaza, and Nineveh, there are currently no queues at all. If you want to restart the game, you can play here most comfortably without switching to another region.
The servers of the newly added region Europe West are not included in the statistics. However, we assume that you will also only encounter limited queues here and you won’t have to wait too long, if at all, to play the new MMORPG.
Community reacts disappointed
How is the information perceived? On reddit, fans of Lost Ark express their disappointment in the thread regarding the still enormous queues. Especially the broken matchmaking frustrates many users, as they can’t even play properly, even when they finally log in.
As the matchmaking and the shop operate regionally, or rather do not operate, servers without queues face the exact same issues with endgame content as players on Asta, Kadan, and Co.
Furthermore, many people are complaining on reddit about an increasing number of bots and people who place items on their mice and keyboards to remain logged in, even though they are not actually there. Similar issues have already occurred in New World. Overall, the mood in the community is currently rather gloomy.
What is special? Regarding the statistics, some are surprised that different servers have various peak times. This is despite the fact that most players likely play in the same time zone. For instance, Zinnervale peaks at around 15:30, while Thirian reaches its peak only around 19:00.
The worst time to queue on Asta, by the way, is around 16:30, right at the end of the workday.
