In Lost Ark, the first PvP season starts on March 24. We will tell you here what ranks there are, what rewards await you, and what else the season brings.
What kind of season is it? The first PvP season will be held in the “Team Deathmatch” mode:
- It will be played in 3v3 with a fixed time limit
- The team that gets the most kills within this time limit wins
- Those who die will be revived after a short time
You can easily enter the Team Deathmatch mode outside the rankings with a group of friends. However, in the rankings, you must sign up alone and will encounter two completely random team members. We have already criticized the lack of teamwork in a group.
How long does the season last? The season starts on March 24 and is expected to last about six months. A specific date for the end will be shared in the future.
To participate in the season, you must reach level 1 in the arenas without rankings.
Is it worth playing the season? For playing the season, you can earn special coins that you can exchange with a vendor. This vendor offers various rewards, including enhancement materials and XP potions. These materials are also supposed to help you overcome the dead zone in gear score faster.
Additionally, there will be exclusive cosmetic rewards such as mounts and titles. The highlight is, of course, climbing to the highest ranks, which are reserved for only a few players. Based on this, there will also be a special reward at the end of the season, which the developers will announce later.
Those who want the highest rank in PvP must put in a lot of effort
How are the ranks structured? The ranks in the first PvP season are tied to a competitive rating. You improve this rating by winning matches, and it decreases if you lose or do not participate in any ranked matches for two weeks.
The top 200 players in a region will be displayed on a special leaderboard. The top 30 also get their own separate rank. Here you can see the exact distribution with a placement or the respective competitive rating:
- Grandmaster: Top 30 players in the region
- Master: Top 31-100 players in the region
- Diamond: 2000+
- Platinum: 1800 – 1999
- Gold: 1600 – 1799
- Silver: 1400 – 1599
- Bronze: 1399
A combination of region-based and skill-based matchmaking will be used for the matches to ensure balanced games.
What are the best classes for PvP? If you want to play at the top level, you should master the classes Bard, Paladin, Deathblade, or Gunner perfectly. These are among the strongest classes in endgame PvP.
