The action MMORPG Lost Ark is nearing the end of the beta tunnel and is now preparing for the launch of the final closed Korean test phase.
Starting from April 19, it will be possible to register for the third and final Korean Closed Beta of the action MMO Lost Ark. The exact start date of the test phase will be announced later.
For the 3rd Closed Beta, interested and resourceful players can register from April 19 via the Korean website of Lost Ark. Although it is not intended for non-Koreans to register for the beta, history has shown that MMORPG fans usually find a way.
The beta brings a series of new features
Those who participate in the Lost Ark beta will see some new features.
- Two new classes: Stealth archer Hawkeye and Soulmaster, a mix of melee and ranged fighter
- New game areas: These will cater to solo players, as there are already many group areas in the game
- New dungeons
- New card-based combat game: You will find new cards as loot in the game or receive them as rewards for completed quests

3rd Closed Beta kicks off the final sprint for Lost Ark
The 3rd Closed Beta of Lost Ark is, according to the plan and the traditional release pattern of Asian MMORPGs, the last “big, closed” beta phase.
Afterwards, there is usually only a “Final Test” to test server stability before it moves into an “Open Beta”, which is essentially the soft launch.
After the 3rd Closed Beta, everything could go quite quickly for Lost Ark: It is conceivable that Lost Ark will rush through the final beta phases still in 2018.
Release in Europe remains unclear
Currently, there is no release date for Lost Ark. Also, when the Open Beta begins is still unclear.
