Lost Ark has officially revealed what’s coming in the MMORPG over the next two months. This includes a new class, a new Legion raid, and many other features. We at MeinMMO have summarized the highlights.
What kind of roadmap is this? In Lost Ark, there are usually no roadmaps that cover a long period. This time is no different. The current roadmap from the developers gives us an overview of what is happening in the MMORPG in August and September.
It is important to mention that this roadmap only outlines the key points of the new features. Typically, the detailed information about the updates only comes in the patch notes shortly before the new content is released.
It is also exciting that Amazon seems to want to move away from the large monthly updates. In August, there will be a major update as we are used to, and in September, there will be two updates. The next class, the highlight of the roadmap, will not be available until the end of September.
What are the highlights? The following things are coming to Arkesia in August and September:
August:
- The Companion Ranch – A place in your fortress where you can collect and upgrade your companions
- Mahakara Festival – Blooming Mokokos – A new festival where you can win mounts and skins. The theme will be rather summery.
September:
- A cross-server global chat room
- More interaction between players on different servers, with the friends list as an example
- 2 new hairstyles for each class
- Improved training area in Trixion
- A PvP balance patch and better PvP settings
- The new class Gunner
- A new Legion raid for 4 players
- Server merges, to counteract dead servers
- New events and skins

The Gunner turns you into Iron Man
What kind of class is this? The Gunner will be the penultimate class to arrive in our version of Arkesia in 2022. He is a heavily armed ranged fighter who relies on high-tech and lasers. He is the fifth advanced class of the Gunner base class and is only available in male form, like his counterparts.
The Gunner uses a submachine gun as his main weapon and is most effective at medium range. He is supported by a combat drone, which is always present. You can then activate skills either by yourself or through your drone.
This drone is useful in many situations as it does not have its own health bar and thus cannot actually die. This is perfect for taking down enemies without having to get too close.

What is his identity skill? If the MP and your drone haven’t taken down the enemy yet, you can activate your identity skill and become a kind of Iron Man. You hover above the ground in a robotic battle suit, firing rockets and lasers from all directions.
During this, the entire user interface of the Gunner changes, giving you a true sense of power and high-tech.
You can charge this powerful ability by dealing damage to enemies. This charges the so-called energy cores. In your ultimate form, you then consume these with each skill until you transform back.
The new Legion raid is a creepy clown – And comes with a noob mode
What kind of Legion raid is coming in September? With the second update in September, the 3rd Legion raid in Lost Ark will also be released. After Valtan and Vykas, the clown Kokul-Saydon enters the scene. He takes you into his “Midnight Circus” and tests your skills.
The clown Kokul-Saydon is considered one of the hardest bosses in Lost Ark and brings his own unique mechanics to the MMORPG. Unlike the previous Legion raids, you will fight against the commander of the Devastating Legion with only 4 players, so your eight-member team for the other raids will have to split up.
When can you play the raid? Kokul-Saydon comes with a noob mode in which you can learn the vicious raid boss before you take on the real creepy clown. This mode is called Midnight Circus: Trial and is available to you starting at item level 1,385.
The actual raid will be available from gear score 1,475 for the normal mode. A hard or even a hellish mode will not be available immediately after the update.
Unfortunately, there is currently little concrete information about other new features. Of course, we will keep you informed as soon as more information becomes available.
