Lost Ark launched in Europe with 9 different servers. However, due to initial queues or by mistake, some players chose the wrong server. Can you still switch servers in Lost Ark?
Is there a server transfer in Lost Ark? No, currently you are bound to the server where you created your character. However, you can choose another server at any time and level a new character there. Your account is not tied to a server and leveling to level 50 is relatively fast.
It is possible that Amazon will enable server transfers in the future. The developers only implemented this feature in New World later on.
Many activities work cross-server
How important is it to play on the same server? It completely depends on what you want to experience. Some activities are server-bound, including:
- Guilds
- Your own islands
- Playing together in the open world
- GvG
- PvP with a custom group
However, many other game contents can be experienced cross-server with other players, including:
- Dungeons
- Raids
- Boss Rush
- The PvP arena with random groups
- The auction house
However, these activities only apply to players on European servers. There is no crossplay to America or South America.
There is an unofficial German server
Which server should I play on? That is up to your own preferences. The server Asta is the unofficial German server. In the global chat, German is primarily spoken, and many large guilds and communities have settled there.
Kadan, on the other hand, is the unofficial PvP server. If you focus on that, you should choose this server.
