In Lost Ark, the daily login rewards are extended again, but the major update is not delayed because of this. We at MeinMMO will tell you here why the extension is taking place at all.
What kind of rewards are these? In Lost Ark, you receive a reward every day during a login event when you log into the MMORPG. These rewards change after an event period, which usually lasts 28–30 days. The biggest reward is always given on the 20th and last day of the event.
Normally, you would have a buffer of 8 to 10 days, during which you don’t have to log in and can still collect all the gifts. However, this time that was not the case.
Tight schedule forces you to play: Since the major June update was postponed twice, the new login event only started, along with the patch, on June 30. The new rewards, however, will come into play again, together with the monthly patch, on July 20.
This means that this time you couldn’t afford a single mistake. You had to be logged in every single day of the event period to grab the coveted cat ears on the 20th login day. This forced fans to the extent that they even played on airplanes to avoid missing anything.

Double rewards for a week
What has Amazon changed? To avoid the daily login stress, AGS has now extended the login rewards from June by one week, so you can collect the cat ears until July 27. At the same time, the new rewards will not be postponed.
From July 20 to July 27, there will be two simultaneous login events, where you can cash in different bonuses. This is a response to the criticism that has become increasingly loud from the community in the forum and on reddit. However, if you are among the hardcore players who really logged in every day for 20 days, you won’t receive any extra bonus for that, which seems to annoy some users again.
What problems might arise? In a blog post, AGS also announced that these double bonuses could lead to a problem, which can be easily fixed. If you jump back to day 1 of the new rewards on July 27, you shouldn’t panic.
Lost Ark assures at this point that a restart of the MMORPG will remedy the situation and return the promised progress as soon as you log back in.

The community celebrates: The change in rewards is creating really good vibes in the community. It’s not even really about the gifts themselves but rather about how the publisher is handling the situation. Even before the release, Amazon was criticized for communicating too rarely and too little with users.
Now fans are glad that feedback is collected and implemented quickly and that the people behind Lost Ark are talking more openly about what is currently going on in the game and how to eliminate obstacles.
But players are also happy about the cat ears that many users can now still collect. They go perfectly with the sexy bikinis that will finally make it into the game with the July update, after fans had complained.
