Lost Ark brings a new update on March 17, which brings various compensations for players, including tokens for the new Arkesia Grand Prix event as well as for the Tytalos Guardian raid. We at MeinMMO reveal everything about the patch notes and the server maintenance.
Update 10:52 AM: The servers are already back online.
What’s included in the update? The weekly update only brings a few bug fixes and compensations for faulty content:
- There are adjustments to the events due to the daylight saving time change. Therefore, all players receive 3,000 Grand Prix event tokens as compensation.
- Players who participated in the Tytalos Guardian raid while the faulty rewards were active will also receive compensation. However, this will vary from player to player.
- All bonuses from the monthly and weekly crystal bonus packages will now be distributed correctly, including retroactively, if you activated them already.
Just last week, the first content update in the West was released. It brought new story content, new costumes, and a new raid.
How long will the maintenance last? The servers will go offline at 8:00 AM German time. Then the patch will be applied. The maintenance work is expected to last four hours. The servers should be back online by 12:00 PM.
We will keep you updated in this post if the servers go live earlier or if there is an extension of the maintenance.
Weekly Update on March 17 – Patch Notes
- The event timers in the game related to the daylight saving time change will be fixed, as the hotfix from Monday night did not resolve this issue. Players must have daylight saving time activated on their computers for the clock to display correctly.
- Due to the problems with the timers in the game and the confusion that arose when the limited-time Arkesia Grand Prix event took place, we are providing all players with 3,000 Grand Prix event tokens. This currency will automatically be available in your universal storage.
- We are also aware of a bug preventing players from participating in the Great Price of Arkesia when they try to complete the event quest with a character below level 50. Although this bug will not be fixed in this update, we are working on a fix that will be released during the event period.
- Players who completed the Tytalos Guardian raid while it was faulty will receive compensation for lost items. The exact compensation will vary from user to user since players consumed different items during their raid, but it may include:
- Stones of Awakening
- Consumable combat items
- Phoenix Feathers
- Blue Crystals
These items will be found in your mailbox after the maintenance is completed.
- Monthly and weekly crystal bonus packages will now grant players the appropriate bonuses. We have also retroactively granted all bonuses that may have been missed while this bug was occurring, and these crystals can be retrieved from your storage as soon as you log in.
