Only two hours since the new update for the MMORPG Lost Ark went live, but it is already causing so many errors that the servers are going offline again.
What happened with Lost Ark? Today, on March 10th, the first major content update for the western version of the MMORPG was released. This included not only a new story surrounding the character Kadan, but also the new Abyssal Raid Argos, in which you will participate as 8.
However, the update seemingly caused problems again in the Lost Ark client. There were matchmaking issues and bugs in the shop that apparently cannot be resolved in the live service.
Amazon takes down servers: To provide a solution for these problems, Amazon is now rebooting all servers of Lost Ark, as they announced on Twitter. They are expected to be offline for about an hour and will be shut down at 15:30 our time.
Update 4:30 PM: After the announced hour, the servers are still offline.
Update 4:35 PM: The servers are now online again, we wish you good loot!
We will keep you updated here when the servers come back and you can jump into the new patch again.
The community is not pleased
The community reacts annoyed: These problems are currently met with great incomprehension in the community. How a single patch can cause so much trouble is something many currently struggle to understand in the comment sections.
Furthermore, the calls for even more new skins are loud. And this despite Lost Ark just adding a whole series of new skins with today’s patch. The Omen Skins are very popular, but that seems to not be enough for some users.
With the dark Omen Skins Lost Ark also responds to criticism regarding the sexy outfits for women, but only to a limited extent. The skin variant for the Assassin class indeed has no pants again and fights in something that can best be described as hotpants.
