In Lost Ark, a new update is released today, March 15. This brings some bug fixes, new login rewards, and a new event. We have collected the patch notes and everything related to the server maintenance.
Update 11:20 AM: The servers are already back online.
What are the highlights of the update? The patch today primarily focuses on bug fixes:
- For example, a bug regarding the spawning of tornadoes during the Tytalos guardian attack has been fixed.
- Green and blue potions are now tradeable.
- A bug related to the rewards for the new “Arkesia Grand Prix” event has been fixed. The event was launched with the first content update last week.
- The login rewards in EU-West will be restarted. However, you will keep your progress. Those who were already at day 4 of the rewards will be able to claim the first 4 days again and thus receive a lot of loot.
Additionally, the update introduces a new weekend event to the game. Every Saturday and Sunday, you can secure a “3-Item-Chest” once per squad. More about this below in the patch notes.
How long will the servers be down? The new patch will be deployed at 8:00 AM German time. The maintenance is expected to take about four hours. Therefore, the servers are expected to come back online around 12:00 PM.

Notes
- The problem preventing tornadoes from spawning during the Tytalos guardian attack, which caused players to be unable to evade the attack with high damage, has been fixed.
- The issue that prevented unbound uncommon (green) and rare (blue) HP potions from being traded has been fixed.
- The problem that caused the game to crash when a search field was used with a controller has been fixed.
- The issue where a popup window did not appear when the “Escape” option was used in the game menu while the language was set to French has been fixed.
- The item level payment restriction at the Arkesia Grand Prix exchange has been lifted, allowing players to receive a higher reward.
- The timers for in-game events that were shifted by one hour due to daylight saving time have been corrected. However, players must have their computer clock set to daylight saving time for the time to display correctly.
- The daily login rewards for Europe West will be restarted. This applies from the first day, meaning players can claim the first 4 days of the event again (without losing previously claimed rewards).
Hot Time Weekend Event
This hotfix also marks the kickoff for the Hot Time event in the game. Every weekend until April 10 (at 10:00 AM), a character in the player roster can receive a “3-Item-Chest” containing the following 3 items on Saturdays and Sundays:
- Chest with healing combat items x5
- Chest with consumable items x5
- Chest with offensive combat items x5
The chest with the 3 combat items can be picked up between Saturday 10:01 AM and Sunday 09:59 AM when the event time resets. The Hot Time will occur every weekend until April, so make sure to secure the rewards while you still can!
Known Issues
- Users in the Europe West and South America regions cannot connect to voice chat.
- Monthly and weekly crystal bonus packages do not grant the corresponding bonus percentages. The crystals will be granted retroactively to all players who purchased these bonus packages.
- Procyon’s compass refers to UTC time for adventure islands.
