While EU players struggle with the new Legion Raid in Lost Ark, Korean users are making fun of them. There, the second Legion Raid has been available for a while, along with a few additional ones that are said to be even harder.
In Korea, players have already defeated Vykas, the boss of the second Legion Raid. In Europe, the raid was only introduced with the update on June 30. Despite numerous guides on Vykas, players are struggling to defeat the boss.
What kind of raid is this? In the later endgame of Lost Ark, you unlock the Legion Raids. You can attempt the first one with item level 1415, the second with 1430. For the Hard Mode, you need item level 1460.
You enter the battle with a group of 8 players and must withstand several phases, which consist of unique mechanics. At the end, you face a commander, the boss of the raid. In this case, it’s Vykas.
You must master three phases, each with its own mechanics. In many of these phases, your entire group can end up wiped. On reddit, players report that they have spent 8 hours or more, even though guides were available. Many describe the raid as too difficult.

Korean players find Vykas easy
In the Lost Ark subreddit, a meme has emerged, with players from Korea making fun of EU players: “You defeated Vykas? Wait for Clown/Brelshaza.” These refer to later Legion Raids, which players apparently found harder than Vykas.
Below, it also says: “True Lost Ark fans from Korea” over Jim Carrey, pressing the button labeled “Vykas is so much fun, you will love it”. EU players are rather on the side of the blue button: “Vykas is so difficult, it will make you cry”.
Statements from EU players who find the raid too difficult are thus being labeled as whining, suggesting they are not true Lost Ark fans.
Later raids are supposedly much harder
Which contents do the Koreans mean? Those who found Vykas exhausting should first wait for Clown and Brelshaza, say the Korean players. This refers to later Legion Raids that are already playable in Korea and still upcoming in Europe.
The Clown refers to Kakul Saydon, the boss of the Mayhem Legion Raid. Just like Vykas, he has mechanics that make players kill each other.
The second boss mentioned is Brelshaza, commander of the Phantom Legion Raid. She is considered the most brutal boss you can encounter in Legion Raids. In Korea, she is known by the name Abrelshud.

Ultimately, the comments on the new raid are quite a mess. Koreans are laughing at us, some are complaining about it, others are still whining about not being able to defeat Vykas.
