Several days ago, we wanted to know from our readers which of the missing 7 classes should be brought to the western version of Lost Ark first. One class is clearly in the lead, while places 2 to 5 are very close together.
What kind of survey was this? In the western version of Lost Ark, there are currently still 7 classes missing that are already playable in Korea. We wanted to find out in a survey which one should come to us first.
A total of 4,949 people participated in the survey, and here are the results:
- Lance Master – 976 votes (19.74 %)
- Scouter – 858 votes (17.33 %)
- Reaper – 858 votes (17.33 %)
- Summoner – 756 votes (15.27 %)
- Painter – 754 votes (15.24 %)
- Destroyer – 387 votes (7.82 %)
- Arcana – 360 votes (7.27 %)
The Lance Master in first place is not surprising. He is considered a strong and fun class in PvE and especially in PvP, where he works well as a counter against the powerful Deathblade and the Paladin. However, there are also some surprises in the survey.
Summoner was very popular before release, only ranks 4th
What is noticeable about the survey? Lost Ark currently has very few mage classes in the western version. Anyone wanting to play a damage mage must play the Sorceress. The only alternative is the Bard, who is more of a support role.
That’s why we expected better results for the classes Arcana and Summoner. The Summoner was even the favorite class of our readers in the beta and among the colleagues from Lostarkive, she came in second place.
Nevertheless, she was replaced by the Sorceress shortly before release.
Also surprising is the positioning of the Destroyer. He was mentioned multiple times in the comments on the survey. Our reader Scaver wrote:
First the Destroyer. Being able to swing a big hammer is just cool. Swords are boring.

As long as it takes until we get the first new class in the West, it shouldn’t be too long. The developers promised a new class every 2-3 months:
