The island of Shangra appears at several locations in Lost Ark, but is not always present. We at MeinMMO show you how to find it.
What kind of island is this? Shangra is a special island in Lost Ark. It is not always visible, and when it appears, you need to search for it at three different locations.
Prerequisites are the unlocking of sailing, as you logically cannot reach an island without a ship, as well as level 50 and a gear score of 460.
How do you find Shangra? It spawns at three different locations:
- North of Anikka, west of the Sea of Death
- West of Anikka, southwest of the Creed Ocean
- East of the Wall of Procyon between the Glacier region and North Vern
To find out when Shangra appears, you can use Procyon’s Compass, or check the events in the upper left corner. Feel free to sail a few minutes to the first location before it spawns, because already 10 minutes before the island appears, there will be a whirlpool in the water at the corresponding location.
What does the island offer me? You will receive the island mark of Shinra Island, which is important for your Adventure Journal. Additionally, there are two emotes, the Flying Nimbus mount, and the Song of Spring. Also, there are some Mokokos on the island.
What is special is that a new currency applies on Shangra: You collect peaches. You can exchange them with the merchants on the island. You will find the peaches, like the Mokoko Seeds, all over the island. Additionally, you will receive them in almost every quest on Shangra. However, you can only accept these quests once you have reached level 50.
5,600 peaches are needed to obtain the mark of Shangra. At an NPC, you first exchange your peaches for the sapling of the thousand-year-old tree. The tree is located in the lower left area of the island. Enter to exchange the item for the mark.
Some areas of the island of Shangra require a specific buff to enter. You must drink a bottle of peach wine, which gives you a buff for 5 minutes. Now Shangra grants you access to rewards like chests and more Mokoko seeds.
The Song of Spring is obtained through a quest from NPC Eunsun. It is essential for obtaining the so-called Shangra Flower Dew. With this, you can purchase the Nimbus mount and other rewards from NPCs.
