If you want to get a little spooked in Lost Ark, keep an eye out for Ghost Ships. Once you successfully defeat them, a reward awaits.
What is a Ghost Ship? If you’ve had enough of island farming, you can look for a Ghost Ship (engl. Ghost Ship) on the sea. Ghost Ships are occupied by ghost pirates and make the sea of Arkesia unsafe.
To board them, you need to sail close to it and board it. After you have defeated several enemies with your character, the captain of the pirates, your final boss, will appear.
There are three different tiers:
- Nightmare from level 460, located in front of Rohendel
- Shadow from level 960, located in front of Feiton
- Storm from level 1370, located in front of Punika
- Eibern’s Wound, Unas tasks
Each ship appears in a 2-day rhythm and appears hourly on the respective days. While you can attack the ships as often as you like, you will only receive a reward once per week. This is not per character, but for the entire roster.
Eibern’s Wound is an exception, as you can only receive this ship through one of Unas’ tasks. It is named “Desolate Night Mist” and guides you to the Ghost Ship Eibern’s Wound. To unlock it, you must complete the story in Rohendel and reach reputation level 3 there.
What is the reward? Depending on which of the three ships you capture, you will receive upgrade materials from Tier 1 to Tier 3. Additionally, there are engraving recipes and the Akkan map.
Additionally, if you defeat the Nightmare Ghost Ship for the first time, you will receive two choice chests for navigation coins.
How do I find the Ghost Ship? To locate a Ghost Ship, you use Procyon’s Compass. You can open it through a button under the mini-map. It shows you the exact times for the Ghost Ships, which are the same for all three tiers. Additionally, the appearance of the Ghost Ships is announced via events in the upper left corner.
When the time comes, look for the Ghost Ship on the world map that matches your item level. For example, if you are at GS 460, look for the ship in front of Rohendel.
Now you can set sail. But be careful: The waters in front of a Ghost Ship are stormy and will damage your own ship. It is worth distributing resistance points on the ship you want to use.
