In the new MMORPG Lost Ark, in addition to numerous collection quests, there are also so-called stories. These are multi-part story sections that you can find in the world and contribute to the completeness of your adventure journal. We at MeinMMO show you how to find and complete “How to Become a Hero”.
What kind of story is this? The side story “How to Become a Hero” awaits you still on the first continent in the land of West Luterra. It requires you to find four pieces that are interconnected and thus complete the story.
Similar to most other stories, you have a time limit. This is 20 minutes for each piece of “How to Become a Hero”. So when you collect the first piece, you have 20 minutes to find the second. Then another 20 minutes for the third, and so on.
Since “How to Become a Hero” chases you across four complete maps, we recommend starting this story only when you have finished with West Luterra and can freely march through the maps.
The locations of the story
Where do you start? The first part of the story awaits you in the quaint little town of Lakebar. You have to go through it when you follow the main story. In Lakebar, you also learn how tools work and hang out with King Thirain by the lake.
In the middle of the village, you will find the artisans and their stalls. Exactly between the General Merchant and the blacksmith stands an apple tree behind a fence. Run to the tree and interact with it. Now the story “How to Become a Hero” starts, and you have 20 minutes to find the next piece.
Where is the second part? For the second part of the story, you must travel one map further to the Medrick Monastery. Once you enter the map, just follow the path straight ahead, then left, briefly right, and into the great hall.
Once there, of course, the first thing you do is get the teleporter on the left side of the room. Directly opposite it, in the lower right corner of the wall, is the second part of “How to Become a Hero”. Press G to interact with it and unlock the 20 minutes you have to reach the next location.
Don’t get confused!
Where is the third part? Again, you go one map further to complete the next part of the story. This time, you are taken to the Bilbrin Forest, where the third part awaits you relatively early.
Once you enter the Bilbrin Forest, follow the only possible route towards the local dungeon. Until you reach a place where you can turn right and left. Here you turn left to a lonely courtyard, which however has two stories for you.
In the left corner of the courtyard, the story “Lost Letters” begins, which you of course do not want to click on right now. Follow the courtyard to the lowest tip of the map and interact between barrels and a large stone with the 3rd part of “How to Become a Hero”.
Where is the fourth part? You move on to the next map of West Luterra again, because for the fourth part of the story you have to visit the battlefield. Unlike the previous pieces of the story, the last part waits more at the end of the battlefield.
Just follow the course of the map until you pass the first teleporter and have to cross the large stone bridge. On this bridge, among other things, is the viewpoint “Battlefield”. Use it as a guide, as it glows white and is hard to miss.
Diagonally opposite the viewpoint, you will find a small apple tree. Interact with it to collect the fourth part of “How to Become a Hero” and complete the story.
