To reach the desired level for all eight abilities in the endgame of Lost Ark, you need more skill points than the main quests provide. We from MeinMMO will explain how to get them.
Once you reach level 50 and arrive in North Vern, you start the endgame with 252 skill points. If you distribute them among your eight equipped skills, not all of them will be at level 10 yet, let alone at level 12.
Just keep leveling? Logically, you can level up to 60 to gain more skill points. However, this is not the most effective way, as leveling from 50 takes a long time. At levels 55 and 60, you can also raise skills to levels 11 and 12, which the points earned normally won’t suffice for. So, leveling up to 60 is not enough either.
What is the alternative? To advance your abilities already at level 50, you should rely on skill point potions. You can earn these in the endgame of Lost Ark through various gameplay content.
How to Obtain Skill Point Potions
The Adventure Tome
Pressing N opens your Adventure Tome. Through the main quests, you will fill approximately 10–20% on each continent and receive some rewards, such as potions or collectible cards. To further increase your completion on the continents, you need to befriend NPCs, defeat special bosses and monsters, or collect special items.
As you reach higher percentages, more items become available – including skill point potions. Here’s what you need to complete:
- East Luterra 70% – 3 skill points
- North Vern 60% – 3 skill points
- Shushire 50% – 3 skill points
- Rohendel 70% – 3 skill points
- Punika 80% – 6 skill points
The potion you receive in Punika grants you more skill points than the potions from the other continents. Although you need to achieve a higher percentage in the Adventure Tome, which can be costly in Punika, it generally progresses faster there than on other continents since the story itself is shorter.
Unas Tasks
Unas Tasks are the daily and weekly quests. You can read more about it in our guide to Unas Tasks.
By repeatedly completing the daily quests, your reputation status in the area where you complete the task will increase. With each level, you can collect an additional reward.
Currently, there is only one quest on the European servers that grants you a skill point potion. You must first complete the quest “The New Us” on Whispering Island. This unlocks the three quests that you need to complete a total of 30 times. They are called Whispering Minuet, Whispering Resonance, and Whispering Harmony.
Once you have done this, you will receive a potion that grants you 3 skill points.
Collectibles
In Lost Ark, there are various objects to collect that you can exchange with NPCs. For some of them, there are skill point potions. We will show you which ones you need to complete and what exactly is required from you:
- Giant Heart #4: Drops randomly from the field boss Tarsilla in Shushire. – 3 skill points
- Giant Heart #6: Available for purchase on Atlas Island for 33,000 Pirate Coins. – 3 skill points
- Giant Heart #10: On the 35th floor of the Shadow Peak Tower. – 3 skill points
- Giant Heart #12: Through the quest “With Light in the Heart” at the Shadow Moon Market. – 3 skill points
- Collect 20 Island Badges – 6 skill points
- Collect 8 Ignea Badges (You receive one Ignea Badge for each continent where you have completed the Adventure Tome at 100%) – 6 skill points
- Collect 2 or 6 Omnium Stars (You can only receive these after completing the quests in Punika). – 6 points each for both achievements, totaling 12
Quest Rewards
Some squad and side quests also reward you with skill point potions. Each provides 3 points.
Squad quests:
- East Luterra: A Light Over the Dark Fields
- Island of Tranquility: The Stone of Power
- Rohendel: The Sunset [Awakening]
- Rohendel: Returning
- Feiton: The Buried in the Black Soil
- Feiton: The Last Melody of a Requiem
Side quests:
- Anikka: Eggs in the Sky
- Shushire: The Hidden Thief
- Punika: Eternal Love
The Towers
The tower is a solo challenge in Lost Ark. Starting at item level 302, you can enter the Shadow Peak, and from 802 the Tower of Fate. For both variants of the tower, it is worthwhile to first run this with your alt. When you complete it a second time in the same squad, the rewards will change, and you can earn them with your main.
Skill point potions that grant you 3 points can be found here:
- Shadow Peak: 20th Floor (Item level higher than 420)
- Shadow Peak: 50th Floor (Item level higher than 540)
- Tower of Fate: 20th Floor (Item level higher than 920)
- Tower of Fate: 50th Floor (Item level higher than 1040)
