The MMORPG Lost Ark arrived in the West a year ago. To celebrate its birthday, the developers are giving away a trophy, which only the hardest fans of the game have received. However, to qualify for this, one must put in so much effort that some are not even proud to have it.
What kind of trophy is this? On February 8, Lost Ark turned one whole year old in the West, at least for those who pre-ordered back then. They were allowed to start in the world of Arkesia three days earlier.
In line with this occasion, there is also a new achievement along with a pretty trophy to earn for your own island, if you truly belong to the hardcore fans of the MMORPG. To get it, you have to log in at least once every single day. If you miss just one day, tough luck.
Can you still get the achievement? From now on, the achievement is in the game for particularly ambitious players to catch up on. It’s called “365 days of perfect attendance” and can be used to track your progress.
The rules remain the same; you must log in for 365 consecutive days to claim the statue. By the way, it is quite possible that Amazon will introduce a similar achievement for 730 days next year, as similar achievements already exist in Korea.

It is currently unknown exactly how many people have managed to earn the trophy. We have asked Amazon directly and will update this article as soon as we receive a response. However, it probably isn’t too many.
And not even all of them are proud of it.
Fans make fun of hardcore players – “I don’t know if I should be proud or sad”
How do the fans react? At first, not surprisingly, because many are already used to such a procedure from the original Lost Ark in Korea. Recently, at an event, a handful of players were even honored who have been online daily for 4 years.
Nevertheless, the achievement was not announced to us beforehand. Many players react more with mockery and scorn to the trophy, even some users who have received it share this view. Some people sarcastically refer to the big gatekeeping problem in Lost Ark and joke that soon you will need the trophy to join good groups.

What do the people say who have received the trophy? On reddit many actually react somewhat surprised, but also with shame. One confirms in a comment that he has received the achievement, then adds to his comment: “I don’t know if this makes me proud or sad.”
Another says in astonishment: “I didn’t think I would get it. I guess I have to thank my fear of missing out for that.” This refers to the daily login rewards of Lost Ark, which many players claim daily.
Another user writes, “This is exactly the kind of achievement you shouldn’t tell other people you have.” However, there is generally a lot of humor in the comments and only a little negativity.
External circumstances ruin the achievement, say fans
What do other fans say? Among a handful of fans, anger over the trophy prevails. There are some comments from people who claim they should have received the achievement too, but haven’t. Others simply find the achievement itself not good. “Imagine you have something life-threatening and have to go to the hospital. Bam, achievement lost” writes user Akasha1885 on reddit.
Also, TessaraSorc shows annoyance at the achievement: “There are some people in my guild who missed it by a few days. Two members missed it because they had to attend funerals. Others missed the trophy because there was no internet in Canada for several days last year. The whole achievement feels bad.”
Other players, however, take the matter with a lot of humor and shoot out comments like, “You should touch grass again, if you still know what that is.”
