In the MMORPG Lost Ark, there have been issues with the “Powerpass” system over the past 4 weeks. This allows new characters to be directly brought into the endgame. However, the problem has not yet been fully resolved. What you should pay attention to now and what rewards are offered as compensation will be shown to you on MeinMMO.
Lost Ark is designed for leveling multiple characters, as the different playstyles offer high replay value. For this, the MMORPG offers power passes: level and gearscore boosts that take a character directly into the endgame.
You even receive some for free from time to time, but you will mostly have to purchase them.
However, the system is broken and was disabled for the past weeks. Now it is being gradually reactivated and at least the free power passes are working again:
- Free Vern Pass
- Free Punika Pass
The purchasable passes are still disabled, but these two are now functioning again. For the system downtime, Lost Ark is offering some rewards as compensation.

How do I get the compensation rewards? Lost Ark describes 2 situations that qualify you for the compensation:
- You completed a quest between July 23 and the reactivation that distributes a free Powerpass (Ealyn’s Gift or Berver’s Friend)
- You had an unused free Powerpass in your inventory during that period and logged into the game at least once during the downtime
The “Punika Growth Support Package” offers the following items:
- Selection Chest I: Jump Stone lvl 3
- Ancient Platinum Coin (20,000 Silver)
- Selection Chest I: Fusion Material lvl 3
- Destruction Crystal Pouch
- Guardian Stone Crystal Pouch
- Honor Fragment Pouch (L)
The items should be found in your universal storage. For compensation, a Powerpass must have been in your inventory – a pass in the mailbox is not sufficient.
On Reddit, the reactivation is being actively discussed (via reddit.com). For the fact that one could not start a new character with a free boost for almost 4 weeks, some users feel the reward is poor.
Warptwenty writes: “I expected more compensation, to be honest.” Kessarean feels similarly: “The compensation is a bit meager.”
In the same Reddit thread, some users have reported issues with Powerpasses that disappear or were not redeemed correctly.
If you used one of the free passes while the system was disabled, go to the character you want to boost and then to the Powerpass options. Here you will find 2 fields with “Buy” and “Use” – click on “Use” to redeem the lost pass.
