On October 26, the October update will be released in Lost Ark and will bring some new content. In addition to events for all players, the update is primarily aimed at fans looking for a real challenge.
What kind of update is this? Today, on October 26, the monthly update for October seems to be happening in Lost Ark. Included are new events, Twitch drops, and skins, but the highlight is on really difficult challenges.
Because aside from the other content, 3 new raids are making their way into the MMORPG, specifically two new raids and a new variant of Vykas, an already existing raid. All three are aimed at very experienced players, as they will be quite challenging.
What are these raids? The three upcoming raids consist of three different types of raids, which we will summarize here.
Vykas
On one hand, the hellish difficulty of Legion Raid Vykas comes into play.
Just like with the hellish Valtan, there are fewer new mechanics here than simply a harder fight against the commander. Because you do not see their health bars and therefore cannot rely on when which mechanics need to be played.
This makes the raid harder than the normal or hard mode. As a reward, special titles and achievements await.
Mystic
In addition, a new Abyss Raid called Mystic is coming into play, which will only be available for three weeks. Here, you will need to fight your way through three different phases and will receive event tokens as a reward. You can only defeat it once per week per account, so a maximum of three kills of Mystic await you.
Mystic will be played normally, just like the other new raids. This means that you will be set to Gearscore 1,302 and the book of coordination will be used to skill you. Set effects and more will not come into play, creating increased difficulty.
Achates Trial
Finally, Achates Trial awaits as a special guardian raid, which comes into play with the October update. This one also wants to be defeated normally and is supposed to be roughly as challenging as a hellish legion raid.
Importantly, the Achates Trial will start on Saturday, as there is a special achievement for the first group per region that manages to defeat it. In order to ensure that everyone has an equal chance, Amazon has chosen Saturday for the release.
You can earn achievements and titles here as well. There will also be an exclusive title for the team that can defeat the boss in the shortest time. Those who are brave will certainly be rewarded here.
How long Achates Trial will be available, we do not know yet. Amazon does not announce a time for when or if the raid will disappear from the game.

New PvP Season and Big Autumn Event
What else does the update bring? For those of you who prefer to fight against other players rather than PvE bosses, there are also new contents. The October update also launches the second PvP season in western Lost Ark.
Compared to the first season, some rewards and the point allocation have been revised. If you manage to reach at least Gold rank or higher during the season, you will receive exclusive rewards that have not yet been specified.
In addition, there are several bug fixes and new login rewards, as well as a new fevertime event, so gifts of all kinds are also included in this update.
How does the new event work? After the big summer event, which took place over several months, the autumn event follows under the name Aldebaran Harvest. This event is more reminiscent of a kind of Thanksgiving than Halloween and takes place from October 26 to December 7.
After a short quest line, which you can accept in each capital, you will reach the new Mokomoko Night Market island, where the event takes place. Once you arrive, you can also reach it by ocean liner.
There you will find, in addition to your own events and rewards, also a new daily quest and an Island Soul that you can earn there. You can exchange the event currency for card packs, upgrade materials, and more.

Halloween Skins of All Kinds
What’s coming for Halloween? In an MMORPG, of course, there should be no lack of Halloween content in October. While Lost Ark does not provide a large event for this, there are plenty of new skins that you can purchase for real money and blue crystals.
There are really many and varied skins in the shop. Some of them look like regular street clothes masquerading as Halloween costumes, while others are quite creepy.
Additionally, there are also new pets that represent a flying broom with a pumpkin head and wizard hat, which fit perfectly into your new spooky island. Because there are also new buildings for your fortress, which you can use to decorate it in Halloween style.
The whole spooky package is rounded off by a new mount. The “Pumpkin Carriage” mount is a carriage that seemingly drives itself by ghostly means and is offered in various colors.
