On April 21, Lost Ark will introduce a Battle Pass called the Ark Pass as part of the update “Battle for the Throne of Chaos” where players can earn additional rewards.
What is the Ark Pass? The Ark Pass is a Battle Pass similar to those in many games. You can complete additional quests and receive rewards at each Pass level. It includes a total of 30 levels. You can find the Battle Pass in the upper right corner of the screen, right next to the mini-map.
The quests are divided into regular missions and seasonal missions, offering different tasks. For example, you need to complete Guardian Raids, finish Unas tasks, or participate in PvP battles for the regular missions. For the seasonal missions, you need to use a beacon 20 times or play an instrument.
You can complete regular quests until you reach 500 EP. The EP are reset weekly, and you can do more tasks. The seasonal quests can only be completed once per Battle Pass.
You can purchase the Ark Pass from now until June 18. You have until July 14 to complete it fully.
How much does the Ark Pass cost? It is available in three variants:
- Free
- Premium for 1,500 royal crystals, or about €15
- Super Premium for 3,000 royal crystals, or about €30
What rewards are there? As you collect EP, your Pass level increases. This happens either through the quests or by using blue crystals. At most levels, you can choose one of two success rewards. If you have purchased the Premium version, an additional reward is added at each level. Those with Super Premium receive an extra reward every 5 levels.
In the free version, you can receive upgrade materials, relationship chests, and card packs. At level 10, you can get the mount Vanguard of the Blue or Dark Soul. It has similar stats to the Ceberus from the Platinum pre-order package and is the best mount you can obtain for free in Lost Ark.
The premium reward includes additional upgrading materials. The super premium rewards include a profile background, skins, and a legendary relationship chest.
Is it worth it? Every player should take a look at the Battle Pass from time to time, as most of the tasks are very easy to complete. There are also useful rewards for F2P players, and you shouldn’t miss the mount. If you want to get more out of the Pass, you can invest real money; that’s up to each individual.
In a previous post, we asked you if you would buy the Pass or not. 20% said they would not buy it, 22% said they definitely would. For the rest, it depended on what content the Ark Pass ultimately offers.
What do you think about the Ark Pass? Is it as you imagined it? Are you satisfied with the content of the Battle Pass? Will you buy the Premium or Super Premium version, or will you stick to the free content? Feel free to let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO!
