The MMORPG Lost Ark brings a new update on March 24 that brings massive compensation for the players. In addition, you can expect many new mechanics and bug fixes as well as a downtime. We at MeinMMO will tell you everything about the patch notes and server maintenance.
Update 15:35: Earlier than expected, the servers of Lost Ark are now online again and the patch has been applied. You need to download 1.6 GB to get started. We wish you good loot!
What’s included in the update? The weekly update is particularly large this week, and this is noticeable not only in the downtime. You can expect a lot of new content, compensation, and bug fixes. Most importantly, the following elements are included:
- A new event with easier guardian raids for all players, thus Amazon reacts to the scarcity of upgrade materials.
- The first PvP season starts on March 24 and lets you rank up. Only 30 players can get the highest rank.
- Massive gifts for the players, including Pheons, legendary card packages, skins for characters and pets, new mounts, and upgrade materials of all tiers.
- Bug fixes for the Arkesia Grand Prix event as well as for quests, voice chat, and translations.
- A new system to combat bots in the game.
With the update, Amazon quickly responds to the wishes of the players and the discussion about the so-called dead zone when improving equipment. It is significantly more extensive than the update from last week, which also brought some compensation.
How long will the maintenance last? The servers will go offline at 8:00 AM German time. Then the patch will be applied and the maintenance work will be carried out. This is expected to last 8 hours. The servers should be back online by 4 PM.

We also assume that you will need to download a patch after the servers are back online, as the changes are quite extensive.
Weekly Update on March 24 – Patch Notes
- Enjoy guardian raids in a more relaxed manner! Relax, play, and receive reinforcement materials as rewards. The “Scale of Balance” will be used to adjust the character’s values to the guardian’s level, and the difficulty will adapt according to the number of participants in the raid.
- Players can challenge Helgaia, Frost Helgaia, Lumerus, Ur’Nil, Vertus, Chromanium, Nacrasena, Dark Legoros, Ice Legoros, Calventus, and Levanos! This event, open to players with an item level of 250 or higher, will last for about a month.
- The full range of reinforcement material chests Class 1, 2, and 3, metallurgy and tailoring books (to increase the reinforcement rate), and a Class 3 jewel chest will be available for purchase every week until the end of the event.
- The Competitive Arena Season 1 begins after the interruption for the weekly update on March 24. Players can queue up for the “Team Deathmatch” mode and compete against each other for glory and rewards.
- You can look forward to a gift full of fun cosmetics and useful materials. The gift includes:

Adjustments for the Arkesia Grand Prix:
- The weekly reward table now also includes metallurgy and tailoring books (to increase the reinforcement rate).
- There are now more weekly reinforcement materials to ensure that players are rewarded for participation.
- Destruction Stone Crystal (Bound) is now available in packs of 50 and can be redeemed up to 10 times.
- Guardian Stone Crystal (Bound) is now available in packs of 150 and can be redeemed up to 10 times.
- You can now earn more coins so that you can acquire the new items more easily and get the desired rewards. Chaos dungeons and guardian raids now grant 125 coins instead of 100 for the first two daily completions per character. For completing the Grand Prix itself daily, you can now earn up to 888 coins instead of 800.
New system to combat cheating and bots:
- This update introduces a new system to prevent bots and fraudulent purchases. Players who have an active Steam account and meet the minimum purchase requirements to use Steam’s social systems should not notice anything at all.
- Players who have not acquired this trusted status through Steam or Lost Ark have limited access to a few social and economic systems. Specifically, these players have a lower daily purchase limit on Steam than “trusted” players and cannot do the following:
- Initiate trade between players (they can receive requests, however)
- Send gifts in-game
- Exchange royal crystals for gold
- Send in-game mails with attachments
Further bug fixes:
- New, clearer notification for failed purchases.
- Localization and translations in the game have been revised and improved.
- Fixed an issue where players could accept the quest “Off to the Races” without being level 50.
- Resolved issues with voice chat in South America.
- Fixed a bug that allowed adventure island rewards to be claimed only once during the weekend.
- Fixed a bug with the world boss achievement. Players who have already earned this achievement will now see it marked as completed.
