The action MMORPG Lost Ark will soon enter the next phase of Closed Beta in Korea. Therefore, the developers have released some images and videos of the areas and massive boss monsters. However, the monsters are not the only thing that is gigantic.
Lost Ark, the long-awaited action online role-playing game from Korea, is soon entering the next Closed Beta phase in Asia. Some consider Lost Ark to be “Diablo in a better way“, but the developers rather emphasize the differences to Diablo 3, especially the open world and the dynamic combat system.
As is common in the Far East, detailed information about the game is only released shortly before or during the betas. Therefore, there are a few solid details about the upcoming MMO on the eve of the next testing round.
Lost Ark – From the Chicken Island to the High-Tech City
Recently, images and information about the areas in Lost Ark have appeared on the website Steparu, which specializes in information about Asian games. Among them are the following regions and cities:
- Rohendel: The starting area for the mage heroes is a beautiful, colorful fairy tale village full of fairies and mythical creatures.
- The kingdom Lutheran: A wild land where aggressive pagans fight against the civilized inhabitants.
- The island Totoike is actually a massive, sleeping stone giant. In the centuries of its sleep, dwarves and golems have settled on it. By the way, the images from Steparu show truly gigantic chickens.
- The high-tech city Sterne looks completely different. Everything there is made of metal and glass. You will also find massive airships and mechs here.
- Fans of ice and snow should take a look at Shushire. However, sheer misery reigns there, and the inhabitants have to sell themselves into slavery to survive.
