If you use the knowledge transfer in Lost Ark to boost one of your characters to level 50, you still have all the side quests available that came before. For 29 of them, it’s worth going back, as they hold engraving manuals for you.
When should you catch up on the quests? In Lost Ark, there are various ways to bring your character to level 50 without any effort. These include the paid power passes and the knowledge transfer in your fortress, which only costs you gold, or in-game currency.
If you use a power pass, all side quests until level 50 are easily completed. However, you do not receive a reward for this. So, it is actually worse if you are willing to put in a bit of work.
Because the knowledge transfer only brings you to level 50, but leaves the side quests open until then, so you can catch them up and collect the rewards. You should definitely do this, as there are many engraving manuals waiting for you.
What are the manuals for? You need the engraving manuals to level your engravings. You need 20 manuals of one level to reach the next one. However, you cannot skip levels.
In the endgame, you usually get epic or even legendary engraving manuals. However, they are completely useless to you if you are missing the normal and rare ones which you must complete beforehand. You can buy these manuals in the shop, but some of them cost a lot of money.
We show you the 29 quests that you can catch up on after the knowledge transfer to collect a lot of engraving manuals. Both class and combat manuals will be available to you, which you can use account-wide.

Where can you find the quests? We divide them by areas for you, with a large portion of them found in East Luterra. There, you will be taught the mechanics of engravings for the first time. If you complete all 29 quests, you will receive 30 green manuals for class and combat engravings and 10 rare (blue) manuals at the end.
The manuals await you in chests, so you can always choose which engraving exactly you want to use them for. The quests can also be completed again with any character to farm engravings.
