Lost Ark will have a wide variety of classes. A total of 18 different tiers are expected to be available at release.
The Sixfold Trinity of Class Choice
As one of the few big action MMORPGs in the upcoming months, Lost Ark is likely on the watchlist of many fans. However, although the game has already gone through initial beta phases, not all details regarding the classes, mechanics, and specializations of the game are known yet.
Resourceful dataminers have extracted the names and affiliations of all classes from the game files of the latest patch.
Accordingly, there will be 3 subclasses for each class. The following combinations are known:
- Fighter: Battlemaster, Infighter, Forcemaster
- Warrior: Berserker, Warlord, Destroyer
- Gunner: Devil Hunter, Blaster, Hawkeye
- Mage: Arcana, Summoner, Bard
- Assassin: Shamanking, Pirate, Shadow
- Specialist: Astrologer, Musician, Alchemist
Currently, only 3 of the 6 base classes are playable in the beta, and only 2 of the advanced classes for each. It will take a while before the development of class design is completed.
