The video has gone viral – the best free advertising that the franchise could wish for. As Lord of the Rings Online is rightly praised for its extraordinary sound design and unique atmosphere, we find this newsworthy.
Music also plays a significant role in the gameplay of this fantasy MMORPG. The characters can play up to nine instruments and get really creative with the number keys. Anyone quick enough with their fingers can play a few tunes in LOTRO. The community has provided “sheet music” ranging from the Chicken Dance to the Imperial March from Star Wars.
But even the most skilled fingers will never achieve what Taylor Davis conjures up in-game.
