The Day Before is struggling with its credibility. For a long time, it was considered one of the most anticipated games on Steam. However, after a few strange actions by the developers, players are skeptical – and the promised video with 10 minutes of gameplay does not improve the situation for everyone.
With The Day Before, the developers from the small studio Fntastic achieved a surprise success. After the announcement, many players looked forward to the new survival game, and the information about the game and the first images looked really good.

After two delays and a few strange actions, fans view The Day Before differently. At the latest since the issue with the copyright problems, there is a lot of skepticism. The developers responded with an analogy to heroes from 90s movies.

The Day Before: Gameplay is receiving negative feedback from fans
What is there to see? The character runs the path from outside a metropolis into the city. On the way, a few zombies are taken out, a crafting station is used, and some containers are looted.
How are fans reacting? Most reactions are negative. Apparently, expectations were higher. The scenes deliver hardly any action, and the description “walking simulator” comes up more frequently.

After the announcements from the developers, many fans wanted to see a trailer that would blow them away. However, there was very little to see that generated more interest.
The developers wanted to provide proof that they are really working on the game. This is also being appreciated. Now and then, there are also positive comments about the gameplay. However, skepticism continues to prevail – whether the game will be good or even in development.
