Riot Games has apparently rented a private jet to fly the 4 Korean teams of the LCK to the LoL Worlds 2021. A Twitch streamer is already mocking: “How are we supposed to have a chance against that?” The advantage for South Korea at the World Championships of League of Legends is simply too great now.

- According to reports, Riot Games has flown the 4 Korean LoL teams that qualified for the LoL Worlds 2021 to Iceland in a private jet. (via twitter)

This is how it’s being discussed: On reddit, this flight is being discussed. Allegedly, Riot Games pays about $345,000 for the private jet. This explained the LoL caster and Twitch streamer Cadrel.
Riot Games is already highly praised for this: They spare no expense or effort to bring the Korean stars safely and comfortably to Iceland.
Apparently, it is believed that this is also an advantage because the 15-hour flight can be made as “Covid-safe” as possible.
Furthermore, it would have been similarly expensive if they had to transport 4 teams with their support staff on commercial flights to Iceland, another notes. Riot Games can surely afford the difference.

The action from Riot Games seems to be well received and is making good mood for the LoL Worlds 2021, which begins in a few days. In any case, the action is definitely better received than the last one.
