The beta for League of Legends: Wild Rift has started and the first players are on the servers. We from MeinMMO are there and have created a tier list to recommend you the best champions for each position.
What does this tier list show? In Wild Rift, you currently have 61 champions to choose from. But not all are equally strong. Especially in competitive games, it’s about finding the best characters to win your matches. Exactly there we want to help you.
Below you will find a tier list for each position. These are sorted by their usability. At the top is the S-tier. Then come A-, B-, and C-tier. Characters in the C-tier are still playable in their respective position, just significantly weaker than the other characters.
New champions have already been announced, even ones that are not supposed to exist in the PC version.
How was this list created? The list is based on personal experiences, especially in the area of midlane, AD carry, and support, and more than 40 matches. We have been able to play Wild Rift for several days and have compared the mobile version with the classic LoL in a preview report.
At the same time, tier lists from Rankedboost and Wild Rift Builds, as well as the videos from Excoundrel (Challenger player), Noyce Gaming and Furor Gaming have been used. All these infos and conversations with other players have led to the creation of these tier lists.
Midlane Tier List

What makes the S-Tier characters so strong? Orianna deals a lot of damage and can constantly deal damage in the lane with skill shots. Due to the adjusted regeneration in Wild Rift, she rarely runs out of mana. This makes her an uncomfortable opponent.
Zed has the big advantage that his ability kit benefits greatly from locking onto a target. This makes the character easy to control on a smartphone. Additionally, he brings a great damage potential.

What makes the S-Tier characters so strong? Olaf is the perfect toplaner to dominate a match on his own. Because if you win your lane and get a kill or two, you can quickly influence the entire game from there. With his abilities, he can quickly defeat minions and keep opponents at bay with his axe throw “Undertow”. Other melee champions, in particular, have a hard time with Olaf.
Malphite is a solid tank pick for the toplane and shines more in team fights later on.
Darius, on the other hand, is a strong melee fighter and can deal a lot of damage. He should not be underestimated in the toplane.

What makes the S-Tier characters so strong? Lee Sin is by far the strongest jungler in the game. He is versatile, fast, and strong in ganks. However, he is not so easy to control, especially on a smartphone.
Alongside Lee Sin, Gragas and Olaf are currently quite strong. They deal a lot of damage and can gank lanes well.
AD Carry Tier List

What makes the S-Tier characters so strong? Ezreal has an incredible number of skill shots that annoy enemies in the lane and deal damage. Due to the adjusted regeneration, he rarely runs out of mana.
Jhin, on the other hand, excels with his high damage and is particularly stronger than Ezreal with a crit build in the late game.

What makes the S-Tier characters so strong? Braum is tanky and offers an incredibly good set of abilities. His first ability, Winter’s Bite, is particularly useful in the early game to deal some damage, while his ultimate, Glacial Fissure, is a power move in the late game with the knock-up.
Alistar, on the other hand, offers an immense amount of CC, is still tanky, and is thus a strong supporter.
Blitzcrank is especially popular and successful because he can pull enemies towards him. This can be done very precisely with a bit of practice on the smartphone. Especially now, when there are still some issues with controlling and the speed of the game, Blitzcrank is really strong.
