In League of Legends: Wild Rift you now have the chance to play all champions for free. However, this is only possible for a limited time. We will show you what you need to know.
This was announced: Via Twitter, Riot spread the message that you can currently try all champions in Wild Rift for free. Additionally, there is double the amount of EP and Blue Motes. However, the event is only supposed to be limited to 3 days, so you will need to hurry if you want to try a lot.
We will show you all the conditions of the event and tell you which champions you should definitely try.
All about the free champions
How long will the event last? You can try the champions for free starting now. The event is supposed to last until January 3rd. Riot mentions 3 days, which should end on January 3rd around 9:00 AM.
What do I get from the event? You can try all 49 champions and see which character suits you best. If you do not own a champion yet, you will know which champion to work towards.
You do not need to farm resources for any of the champions, but can just jump in. This allows new LoL players to get to know the characters and LoL veterans, who are new to Wild Rift, to see how the champion has changed in Wild Rift.
This way, you can determine the best champion for you and your playstyle and try them out diligently.
These champions you should check out: Among the 49 champions, there are many differences, and if you do not want to look at all characters, we will give you a strong preliminary selection.
The selection comes from our tier list for Wild Rift. The champions listed there are considered strong:
- Midlane: Ahri, Orianna, Zed
- Toplane: Malphite, Camille
- Jungler: Lee Sin, Xin Zhao
- AD-Carry: Jhin, Ezreal
- Support: Blitzcrank, Braum
Normally, all these characters cost 5500 Blue Essences or 725 Wild Cores. During the current event, you do not need to spend anything for them.
Depending on your playstyle, another champion might be suitable for you. However, you should at least try the listed characters and see if they fit your playstyle.
