Because the fans requested it, the URF mode will soon return to League of Legends (LoL)!
After many fun game modes have been tried out in the rotation that activates every weekend, one clear favorite remains in the minds of League of Legends players – namely the URF mode. Because it was so well received, it found its way back into the rotation shortly.
Today “Ascension” starts – URF follows
- As you can see in the picture, the Ascension mode starts today in LoL. This fun mode started the game mode rotation and was received positively by the players. You can find out how exactly the mode works in our LoL Ascension Mode Guide. As always, the mode starts Friday early afternoon (usually around 2:00 PM) and ends early Monday morning.
- Already next weekend we can look forward to rolling our heads over the keyboard and mashing the keyboard like crazy, because on May 20, 2016, the URF mode returns for a second round. While this mode is not the newest, it comes very close to the sandbox mode that many players wish for.
- Following URF, there will be a brand new mode that will definitely not be Dominion. There will be a separate article explaining what this mode is about.
- At the beginning of June, the game mode rotation will start with the Legend of the Poro King. You can find more information in our LoL Poro King Guide.
So we should be excited and look forward to a lot of variety in the coming weeks. But first: Have fun in the Ascension mode!
