What happened? Previously, LCS teams were required to have an NACL team if they wanted to participate in the LCS. The NACL is a league for rising talents. Thus, every LCS team also had an NACL team.

He claims that no talents would be promoted in the league and that only players are there who are just collecting a good paycheck without much effort.
Another reason he sees for Riot removing the requirement is the low viewer numbers of the league and the resulting lack of monetary income for LCS teams. Through the NACL, the organizations would only burn money.

He sees the strikes as pointless, as nothing beneficial comes from the NACL and the players would not advance anyway. However, he also has nothing against the idea of promoting young talents if they had the chance to make it to the LCS.
