For months, there have been rumors that leading Twitch streamer Caedrel is planning his own team in League of Legends. Now the roster for 2025 has been announced. It’s not Perkz and Jankos, but big and well-known names from the European LoL scene are in the team, such as Nemesis and Rekkles.
This is the situation: Months ago, leading Twitch LoL streamer Caedrel considered building a team of skillful influencers to compete in the Northern European Regional League of LoL, the NCL. This would surely give a massive attention boost to the scene and provide delicious content for the influencers.
For months, potential candidates for the team, known as “Los Ratones” (The Mice), have been circulating. Apparently, the streamers TheBausFFS, Nemesis, and Caedrel himself should serve as the “foundation”.
Now, on November 15th, the roster has been unveiled and there were some surprises realized. Others, however, did not come true.
“Agurin” is considered one of the strongest influencers in LoL. He is part of the German influencer team NNO:
Who plays for Los Ratones?
In the top lane, “TheBausFFS” (25) will compete, a well-known streamer and top laner who has mainly played Sion for a long time.
In the jungle plays the Serbian “Velja” (22). He is a relatively unknown player who has appeared in LoL teams on and off since 2019 but hasn’t stayed anywhere long.
In the mid lane, Nemesis (25) plays. He is a seasoned professional who impressed with Mad Lions and Fnatic from 2017 to 2020. The Serbian has now become a large streamer on Twitch.
As ADC, the 26-year-old Slovenian Crownie will play, who has been under contract with Team BDS and Team Vitality in recent years.
And as a supporter, as indicated yesterday, the star player Martin “Rekkles” Larsson will join. He just became a world champion.
Who is not in the team? It was actually thought that Caedrel would play himself, but he will serve as a coach and founder.
Names like Jankos or Perkz were also mentioned, but they seem to have finally fallen through.
Caedrel wants to give back to the scene and make young junglers stars
This is what Caedrel says: In a video on YouTube, Caedrel says that they wanted to build a mix of professional players and content creators to have a competitive team that is still a lot of fun.
The team’s goal is to give something back to the e-sports scene in Europe.
Most of what they do as a team is expected to take place publicly, the streamer assures.
Everyone in the team is friends; they wanted to have a fresh face in the team: that will be jungler Velja. Caedrel has high hopes for him and believes he has the potential to play in the professional league LEC soon.
He also addresses that many criticize: TheBausFFS won’t make it in professional play. Caedrel smirks, they will see, surely some things will change, but he also doesn’t want to bend the players.
Where will the team compete? From what is known, Los Ratones will compete in the Northern European League NCL. However, this is not yet certain, as Caedrel says. They are currently looking at various leagues. Long-term, they seem to indeed be aiming for the LEC.
In the NCL, the league for the UK and Scandinavia, they could actually meet their German brothers in spirit, as the German counterpart of the team, the influencer group NNO, has loudly considered leaving the Prime League and moving to the island: LoL: Team of German Twitch streamers no longer wants to play in Germany after trouble with the league
