Co-streaming LEC matches in League of Legends is always a bit of a thing. In the LEC and other areas, simultaneous streaming is not well received, and you need to get permission from the official side. However, 2 of the biggest German LoL streamers are now allowed to stream the LEC final.
Who is involved? As the official LEC Twitter account posted, Frederik NoWay
Hinteregger will stream the LEC final on September 9th and 10th. The LEC is the largest European professional league in League of Legends. Special guest Niklot Tolkin
Stüber has been announced, who will join NoWay in the stream.
The two streamers are well-known figures in the German LoL scene.
- NoWay is the largest German LoL streamer as NoWay4u_Sir (via. TwitchMetrics)
- Tolkin is in 5th place
- Both are also part of the Streamer Team NNO, who have achieved large viewership numbers
The only way to save the league
In the comments to the official LEC post, users react positively to the announcement.
- Tulpar Gaming Notebook:
Let´s go @TolkinLoL! But please in Gandalf (or Seraphine) cosplay
- Express:
Co-streams are the only way to save the league. I am glad they are taking this route
- Daniel:

When can I watch the stream? On September 9th and 10th around 6 PM, both games will also be available to watch on NoWay’s Twitch channel. On Saturday, Fnatic will play against MAD Lions for the spot in the final on Sunday. The winner on Saturday will then face G2 Esports in the final.
The qualification for Worlds doesn’t look good for Europe:

Whether more co-streamers will join in Germany or other countries is still unknown. However, the fact that big streamers are now allowed to stream the matches is likely to lead to a larger viewership.
In Korea, the same faces are often seen on the midlane at Worlds:
