10. Lissandra

Quote: So many secrets, hidden in the ice …
Lissandra is an ice witch from Freljord. Together with her two sisters, she gained an ancient power, which cost her her sight. However, Lissandra was now able to walk in dreams. During a journey, she made a pact with the so-called watchers, who promised her more power.
But her pact did not go as expected, and she sacrificed her sisters to bury the watchers in true ice. Her only goal is to keep the watchers trapped in ice and to hide the legacy of her sisters. Lissandra’s power alone prevents the Void from overrunning Freljord (via League of Legends).

9. Soraka

Quote: Two paths stretch before you, but you can only choose one
Soraka is an immortal being that transformed into a mortal shell to help humanity. She wants people to rid themselves of their wicked traits. Her power is so great that her mortal shell burns from within.
During her time on Runeterra, the cruelty of humans and their wars was revealed. Although she realized that she cannot force people to be good, she continues to try to help all beings (via League of Legends).
8. Aatrox
Release: 2013
Quote: I must destroy hope itself
Long ago, Aatrox was a warrior of Shurima who fought against the Void. But when Shurima fell, he and the other sun-born had no purpose and fought against each other. The people feared them and gave them the name “Darkin.” A single Darkin can take on an entire army.
Aatrox is probably the strongest of the Darkin. Aatrox was imprisoned in his famous blade, but once someone takes it up, he can control them. Aatrox becomes stronger with every defeated enemy, and his goal is the complete destruction of the world so that everything, including himself, ceases to exist (via League of Legends).
